For patients
Considering Re2O? Start with questions and make an informed choice
If you are considering an injectable treatment, a consultation should cover more than a promised result. A aesthetic doctor can assess your skin, explain the options and discuss whether a particular product and treatment plan are appropriate for you.
Useful questions for your consultation
- What is this product made from, and what does its human tissue origin mean for me?
- What evidence supports the result we are discussing?
- What risks, alternatives, recovery needs and follow-up arrangements should I understand?
- What happens if I have a complication or am unhappy with the outcome?
- How can the clinic verify the product’s source and traceability?
Keep expectations specific
The published Re2O clinical study observed a particular combination treatment for 20 weeks. It does not establish a universal number of sessions, immediate results, a no-downtime promise or an effect lasting a year or more. Ask your aesthetic doctor to explain the basis for any proposed treatment plan. Read about the study and its limitations.
Before a procedure
Discuss your medical history, current medicines, allergies, previous procedures and any current skin concerns with your aesthetic doctor. Request the relevant patient information and a clear explanation of the risks. The aesthetic doctor should determine suitability through a clinical assessment, not a website quiz.
After a procedure
Follow the treating clinic’s instructions and know how to contact them. Unusual or worsening pain, concerning skin-colour changes or changes in vision after an injection need urgent medical assessment. Do not wait for a reply through a routine brand enquiry form.
